My Ride: BMW 520d msport. 2006. Chipped. Compared to my brothers e60 mine flys!
Hi new to this just signed up. Well basically bought a set of bbs lm alloys for my BMW. However I bought them 2 at a time thinking I'd get them cheaper which I did. Anyway the offset of the alloys on passenger side front and back is et 35 and driver side et front and back is 40. So now I'm
Wondering to get the offset equal on the back and the front so the rear wheels sit out a bit more than the front I would need 4 different size spacers on each alloy. Is this safe? And would
This work? Or am I better of selling these ad spares and buying a new set? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

BTW, I'm sure you realize those offsets are for AWD 5 series BMWs or 3 Series - NOT a RWD 5 Series. If you didn't know that (your post doesn't say what model BMW you have) you REALLY REALLY REALLY need to study up before you go buy any other mods for your car.

Thanks for the reply. I bought the alloys second hand from two different sellers. So cannot return them as I bought them second hand although they are brand new. My car is a 2006 BMW e60 520d m sport. I realise the offset on this car is very low. I also have a e46 2004 coupe. But the alloys were intended for the e60. Can't u use spacers? Will this be safe?

The only reason I thought it may be a problem is because I will need 4 different sized spacers on each alloy. Would that make a difference?
