Help! Can original M5 166M 19" rims fit on a 530i?

Question as topic. I am not talking about Taiwan made replica 166M. I heard original OEM M5 166M got different offset and cannot be installed to a 530i but i have seen people in this forum did it.

So confused now

We believe so.
Even if you were concerned about offset, there is nothing spacers can't fix.
I may be replacing my replicas with OEMs.
After I lower my car this weekend, I will be making a final decision.

No problem at all, they go on without the slightest problem.

Only difference is that the M5 uses different tyre sizes.

as Olli said right only the tires of M5 will not fit you make here a search please and then you find all the tire profiles which fit your car.

btw the replicas are also mostly made by Italian and other factories.

Go with the 166 the best for oem

If you dont have a 530xi then the OEM M5 wheels along with theses tires

245/35/19 f

275/30/19 r

Will be perfect. Will fit with no problems.

If you want the rear to look better add a 10mm spacer.

An even better look would be to add a 12mm spacer in the back.

good point. My M5 (166 style) replicas are made in Germany and I have never had the slightest problem with them. Perfect finish, no vibration, nothing.

Glad to hear, as you know I'm not that keen on replicas.

Some are good, some not.

i've been trying to locate a shop that carry the 166 replica's that "are not"made in taiwan. (heard lots of bad things about quality/finish) to no avail. think you can shoot over the contact info of where you got your german made replicas?? if the price comes close to the oem's.., i might as well get the real deal.
