Gotta change the look in this 545i
So I’ve got a black 545 w/black interior, tint, yadda color yadda yadda.
I want to murder it out (as they say) black everything and make it a car the disappears in the shadows. I am thinking about 19” wheels but I’m not sure how to measure for clearance when I go bigger like that. I know about back spacing with a board or something across the back of the tire measurement but as far as the offset goes… I’m kinda lost a little bit. I’d like to have a deeper dish wheel if possible but not poking through the wheel well I’d like to keep em tucked for when I lower it a smidge when I stiffen up the suspension a bit. Close is ok with me just nut rubbin https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/5series...ea8ed85db.jpeg As it looks right now o4 545i E60 |
The site Alloy Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit will help you out a lot. 19" wheels are no big deal for the E60. You have a RWD car, so offsets won't be a problem. Look at the variety of M5 wheels available (e.g. BMW wheel style 166 | BmwStyleWheels.com). Some of them have pretty aggressive deep-dish wheels. You should be able to find something you like. You're on your own as far as blacking out everything. That's just not my thing. B)
