I can't entirely agree with LessIsMore that there is NO downside to big spacers. The impact is greatly reduced if (1) the spacers bring the setup close to the factory offset, which for Soulster's car is ET15-32, and (2) the spacers are hubcentric. However, spacers create unsupported space, even if they are hubcentric: the hubcentric ridge is a locator, not a loadbearing feature. With 25mm spacers, your wheels are at the fat end of the lug and the point of attachment to the hub is an unsupported inch away. That's a lot of flex room and it would concern me. Call me conservative, I guess!

The term "hubcentric" means that the hub is load-bearing, not the lug bolts, so you're theory is based on an incorrect assumption - it might apply if BMW's were designed with lugcentric wheels/hubs.

Why would you suggest checking the lug torque any more than normal. The spacer on the rear bolts to the hub and then wheel bolts to the new spacer. The front is different the spacer came with longer lug bolts thus the wheel and the spacer are bolted to the hub.

LessIsMore is incorrect: The purpose of the hub-centric ring is to center the wheel on the axle, which makes it possible to make the lug holes slightly outsize, which makes for easier assembly and prevents seizure. The rings are not loadbearing.
