Default Another wheel question

Will 18" wheels off a 1998 M5 fit a non sport 2007 550i? The tires on them are 235 40 18...
The seller claims they will fit all 5 series but I'm not sure that is right.

Thanks

No.
e39 hub bore = 74.1
e60 hub bore = 72.5
you do the math

imo, save the $ and buy either 19 or 20's

Thanks for response, the seller on Cl had said they were M5 wheels on his 1998 545 now he's telling me they are M3 wheels.

There are alot of craigslist sellers claiming their wheels will fit on all BMW because the bolt patterns are the same.

Looks like I'm going to order from the tire rack

If you dont mind running hub rings, you can get them to work fine. Im sure thats what the seller might have thought. Running the 74.1-72.56 hub rings will allow you to run a wheel from a E39 chassis car on an E60.

You do however have many options that will be a straight hub centric wheel and bolt right on in 19" and 20" as a few guys mentioned! Please let me know if i can be of any help!
