Okay Vossen VVS-CV3's shipped from Florida today. I'm in California, so I'm assuming they'll be here next week. 20x10.5 ET42 in the rear, 20x9 ET30 up front. I REALLY hope they fit!

I"m now torn between Hankook Ventus V12's, or Nitto INVO's.

Planning 285/30/20 Rear and 245/35/20 Front. This provides the exact same revolutions per mile, which is 777. Also they have matching diameters at 26.75 inches. Like I said, REALLY hope they fit!

Yo Huntington, it looks like you in fact installed an M5 front fender, plus bumper but not the M-tech rear bumper? Personally, one of the main reasons to change out the cosmetics is because the M version rear looks so much better.....

That's correct.
I 100% agree that the rear would look better with the M bumper. I plan to do that after I get the wheels and see how the car looks at that point. Actually to be honest, I plan to do after 1. Wheels2. Stereo3. Suede headliner4. Spoiler5. THEN we can do the rear bumper : )

I don't think that would be a good idea. KW's site has this to say: "When your suspension is fully extended, the main spring is free to move around and can come dislodged from its perches without a helper spring. The helper spring is only there to retain pressure on the main spring when the shock is fully extended so that the main spring stays in place."

285/30/20 rears and 245/35/20 fronts are ordered and on their way!

I don't think the rears are going to fit, but I'm remaining optimistic nonetheless. If they don't fit, I'm going to roll the fenders.

I'm on 285/35/18 in the rear and they fit nicely on a 9.5" rim with ET40 offsets. I may drop a small spacer in to bring it more flush since my fronts are ET35s.

they will not fit. not on the inside by the suspension, not on the outside by the fender. you will also have a severly reduced turning radius on the front with the sizing you're looking at as the edge of your tire will rub in the inside of the wheel well. others on this site have tried many different sizes, but it's always interesting to see people dramatically push the envelope.

I concur based on my tire clearance and this from the e90post calculator:

my wheel is 8.5" ET 29, tire 245/45x18 compared to the one above.

"7mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 5mm"

However, if m5 fender liners were used, with his m5 fenders, then there may be just barely enough to not scrub. We did a scrub test at full turn and found it at the max, and that's without any driving compression like in a corner weighting the front which would reduce the clearance more.

Keep in mind the M5 fenders...
Regardless, I'm ready to push the envelope!
I think 285/25/20's would fit, but I'm not willing to drive on that low of a profile tire...
We'll find a way to make it work. Fortunately since I'm at my Shop every day, fine tuning is rather convenient...That doesn't mean that it'll be easy, but we'll work through it. I am willing to roll the fenders if I have to. I'll also be installing a custom coil over suspension. Hopefully that will help.

Yes we used M5 fender liners.
This will take a lot of work. I have no doubts on that.
I am currently running 295's on my Father's lowered M5 and they slightly rub, however not enough to need modification. I figure if the M5 rubs, the Wagon will definitely rub.
Tires arrive tomorrow. I'll post some pix when I get them. Went with the Nitto's, as I've had great past experience with that brand.
Seriously though, this Wagon is going to be AWESOME with those fat tires in the rear!
