I had just H&R springs and I was 1 finger all around. Now that I added B8's I'm no fingers in the front and 2 in the rear. Hoping the B8's will settle.

Put some pics. Looking to get B8's as well. Car rides hard with just springs over bumps

Mine's only about a finger and a half - last time I checked, anyway. Been busy last couple of days, haven't fingered it yet. But I'll take a look at it as soon as I can. It is kind of really weird - I keep getting worried over it, each time I see how the car sits... I really hope it settles and no problems ensue...

I have a clunking sound coming from the right front whenever I turn left or when the right side compresses fully. I have an appointment for Monday to have the installers check it out. Hoping its just a minor thing like a wheel rubbing with the 124's & their high offset - that can be fixed with spacers. Driving the Vdub until then.

Could be the strut mounts. I ordered new ones and had them installed, when the B8's went in. Before that, I also had some clunking happening occasionally - now, LIKE NEW!

Do you guys think there is enought inner clearance for 9.5" ET 45?

I was thinking of trying some X5 reps on the car like this photoshop I did:

Maybe on the rear but no go up front ... I wouldn't go any wider than 9" on the front... at ET35-38.

Why are you using an m5 for this photo idea? why not your own car?

I've considered X5 rims a long time ago, but you'd basically need to flare the crap out of those fenders. If you don't mind the fender flaring, and have a place to get it done well, I'd say GO FOR IT! but if you're not gonna be able to modify body panels to accommodate those huge wheels, forget it! My best advice: have Umnitza make you a custom set of forged reps (they'll probably cost considerably less than a new set of original x5 rims anyway).
