Welcome! (and that goes for everyone )

I just saw a nice set of Volk reps (with offsets for aggressive Xi fitment ) that will look great on a dropped E60, if anyone wants - click on the pic:

looking to contribute information on my wheels as soon as i find out what offset i have funny how they never put specs on custom wheels lol.
i got Enkruez H8r's 19x9F 19x10R

Here's a few pix before i put a 10mm spacer in the rear

Here's a close up shot of how the wheels sat offsetwise

after the 10mm spacer the back started to rub, gonna get the fenders rolled when i get the chance.
again i didnt have the spacers yet in these pix

This thread has some great info, thanks. I have a question about stock staggered setups. Did all Xi's have staggered setups from the factory? Was there a mix of staggered and non? Was it certain packages/years that determined that?

I picked up a used 535i xDrive and all 4 tires are 245/40R18. Judging by the service history these were dealer-installed. Wheels are stock as well. When searching for new tires online, all the sites list a staggered configuration for my vehicle.

Just curious what the different factory options were. Thanks for the help.

There were random staggered setups available for the Xi's on LCI (post-2008) E60's from the dealers, but it is my experience that an overwhelming amount of Xi's came with square setups. As to why most sites would list a staggered setup, I'd chalk that up to good old ignorance. There are vendors out there who don't know, for example, that RWD and Xi E60's have different suspensions. Xi's were a pretty obscure crowd in the E60 days. Now, with more X-drive models available across BMW's entire range, it seems almost hard to believe.

If it came off a 545, it won't fit .. If you also look in the back of the wheels it usually stamped in one of the spokes.

Since they are forged mulit-piece BBS could you get the barrels changed on them
