Default 545i 124 style rim

Hey guys, I am planning on buying the Avant Garde M310 for my 545i but wasn't sure what all these dimensions mean. I have a 545i sports and from my understanding, my 124's are 18". I have tried to do some research but was not sure which dimension I should get and was hoping to get some insights from you guys.

If I go 19" would this effect the comfortbility and smoothness of the ride? Also, would this make it so the wheels would rum against my fenders? If so, I might just stick with 18".

Regardless what I get, can somebody tell me if I were to stick with the 18" would I get 18x8 as the front and 18x9 on the rear? (I think that is the stock dimension of my current rim).

If I were to upgrade to 19", would it simply be 19x8 in the front and 19x9 in the rear? Also what does ET stand for? Which ET would I get since I see a couple different ones for the 19". From the options I have, if I stick with 18", there is only the 18x8 ET -35 for the front and 18x9 ET -38 for the rear. Is this ok? Thank you.

Some 19"s are 8.5" wide in front and 9.5" in back. Others are 9" and 10". All depends on the wheel. ET is the offset, which is important.
