Having an xi myself, I feel your pain. 218's are 10-spoke wheels (BMW wheel style 218 | BmwStyleWheels.com) and I think 10-spokers look awesome on an E60. Unfortunately, the 218's won't fit your car. You might consider Style 135's (BMW wheel style 135 | BmwStyleWheels.com). They come in a version for xi's but are 18-inch wheels though. Just as an FYI, all E46 3-Series wheels (except M3) will fit an E60 xi car. There are tons to be found on Craigslist. Good luck!

Probably... with a caveat. Once again that style (see BMW wheel style 128 | BmwStyleWheels.com) comes in a variety of sizes. You need to make sure they're either ET 46 or 51. If they're truly OEM, the number will be stamped on the back. If you have two of each size, that means they're staggered, which is a topic for another time.

Hello,
I also have a 535xi 2008 and I would like to know if wheel 8.5Jx18 ET34 will fit? Also, why is there almost no wheels that fit the 535xi?

Thanks

ET 34 is at the lower range of the offset range for the xi but you should be okay. Just as an FYI for everybody, E53 (1995-2006 X5) and E46 (1999-2005 3-Series, except M3) wheels will also fit E60 xi cars) with the proper offset.

What is a caveat? So I’m guessing a no go for the 128 style wheels on my e60xi ? Or will it fit ?

If the wheels are staggered all we need to do is change the tire sizes to equal the same diameter,am I write or wrong?
