Hello everyone,
I recently bought 4 winter wheels/tires (was a really good deal from classified ads) without the knowledge that E60 xi and rwd are not interchangeable.
I have been looking through the forum and found so far, that the offset is different on E60 xi and rwd models, 43mm vs 20mm. This topic here: https://5series.net/forums/tires-whe...-gives-127490/ was the most helpful for me. Now I know if I were to install them on my 528i they would stick inward about 23mm more than my rwd wheels. My question is if I can still use them with 20-25mm spacers, I have found some on eBay here: Complete SET 20 MM Thick BMW Wheel Spacers 72 56 HUB Centric W 20 LUG Bolts | eBay. I wonder how safe would it be? Tire/wheel size is 225/50/r17 on both.
