Your search engine requires the search words to be more than 4 characters. I was looking for comparisons in performance between a 3.0 liter X5 and a 525.

Sorry, this search limitation is going to be true for all php based forums. I believe there's some limit in the PHP language or in mysql not allowing less than 3 or 4 characters when searching. Nothing I can do there :( |

The trick to searching on three characters is to add a "star" after the third character.
In other words, if you want to search for "SMG", search for "SMG*" The board software still has some flaky issue with searching but at least this little workaround will get you by... |
:thumbsup: excelent tip. It would've avoided a lot of headaches knowing this before. Oh well, it never too late to learn something new
