I am looking for some help. I am finding it increasingly difficult to reads posts due to the large number of itmes in peoples signatures. Some people have signatures wtih HUGE fonts (advertising links to other threads, parts on sale, etc.). Is there a way to disable viewing them? I love being able to see people's info on their cars, but am totally distracted by the other items.

Thanks

No -- you can however disable signatures entirely. I'm not a big fan of large fonts in signatures either. There might be a way to limit the font size which I'll look into.

Thanks! I don't want to miss out on the details of other people's cars (helps give perspective on people's comments) by turning the sigs off completely, but I am tired of the huge font sigs with advertisements - don't think signatures are the place to advertise - that's what the classified section is for.

No offence for anyone, specially not to Mark, and we respect all new rules, but we should have common rules that matches all the needs

For details we use profile as Iceman started, I have changed all the time the sig, and the fonts as many asks me when how much etc. as the classified section is not good for any kind of adv or grabbing attention, mate in Misc it is not the right place!!!

I am not a seller but contirbutes and wish to do more to my fav community, I said many times that this forums from sellers or anybody who sells/buys stuff shall pay more, Lomag said not time for it, we all do it still.if you all get 1000 Pms and then you may also want to help your members,

and for the moment nobody complained, so also many comes with democracy and freedom so if the SW let members put pictures, or fonts that is for their useage. we still have and never will have banner so..but I hope that these does NOT distruct the fun of the best Forums.

I changed mine to 3 size is it ok? thanks

ps. please think of our eyes sometimes difficult to see some small letters

I sometimes try to use a small screen PDA to view the site and i too find them distracting. Is it possible to turn off all unecessary info JUST for that device whilst retaining all info for PC based browsing?

Just did a search and it works, however you still need the full version to post a reply... Any other ideas?

I didn't know that you can't reply in the lo-fi version, however as mark suggested you can disable your signature all together.

I understand that if you read this from the PDA, the signature will be bothersome.

I don't think there's a perfect solution as of now.

If i disable them altoghether just for the PDA, it would also do the same for my PC based browsing which is not what i want. Never mind, i'll just have to make do.

Cheers anyway.
