I shortened up my sig a bit and resized my sig photo a bit as well.

Frank, quoting giant blocks of text and or pictures is part of a problem we have going on right now. Please, just say thank you or address the OP without quoting it. Just saying, " Thank you Iceman, thank you!" would be an example of the perfect post response to the OP, without quoting his giant block of text.
..please excuse my ignorance . To do this, do you click on the word quote next to the reply? Thanks, bro!

Frank, just Hi-Lite what you don't want duplicate in your reply and then delete it.

Hope that works for you. And thanks for trying.

Or use the "Fast Reply" feature.

Basically, if you don't want to include any quote from another post, just use one of these two methods. If you want to quote all or some of a post, then I think you've already figure out what to do...

Here's how it works:

At the bottom of the thread on the right there are buttons:

Fast Reply
Add Reply
New Topic

On each post you have buttons:

Report
Edit
Quote
Reply

Fast Reply opens a window at the bottom, this can be open all the time, there's a setting for in your control panel.
Add Reply leads to an instant reply (with more options such as pic uploads).
New Topic, well... No explanation needed, right? It opens a new topic in the forum you are at right now.

Report opens a window where you can add some text. Once you send it Admins and Mods get an email with your message and the direct link to the post you where hitting the button at.
Edit, this really doesn't need an explanation. It is only there for an hour, since you're not allowed to edit your posts after an hour.
Quote is to select multiple posts for quoting in a reply, you need to hit Add Reply once you have selected the posts you want to quote.
Reply leads to an instant reply with quoting the post on which you hit the button.

And if you want to quote, or want to make sure and visible for everyone that you are replying to a specific post which is made a while back...
Quote it, but once you have the quote in your reply window, delete the unnecessary stuff, such as pics or huge textblocks.

I myself delete stuff and leave three dots instead to make it visible for everyone that I am taking a part out of the whole post and only reply to this.

The Moderators deserve a "ATTA-BOY" for all their hard work!
