Ya I browse this site at work too and some arent that appropriate... Personal opinion, people should use car related pics for signature and avatar but I know that cant be dictated so oh wells...

Yep - some of the avatars aren't appropriate. We never had avatars like this when most of the now veteran members joined, they're a fairly recent development.
If you want T&A there is a shitload out there on the internet. Not that I don't like to see some myself from time to time, but not really appropriate here.

Up until recently, I've never had to worry about who may be looking over my shoulder when using the site (even at home.) Now, I'm constantly wondering if something inappropriate is going to be visible to others.
Like the title to the thread says, do we really need these things here? I say we don't and we shouldn't continue the practice.
