Okay, I noticed another small thing today -- if you get a PM, the sender's location does not show up under his name, number of posts, date joined, etc.

As we all know, it's pretty important to know the location of a person in order to help answer questions. Lomag, if there's any way to turn this on, please do -- if not, oh well...

It's not like I'm looking for things -- I was replying to a PM and needed to know if the person was in the US or not. I looked under his name and it didn't show anything so I assumed he didn't enter it in his profile.

Later on, I saw a post of his in the forums and it showed his location. At first I thought he added it after I sent him the PM but when I went back to look at the original message, it still wasn't showing up.

As I implied initially -- if there is a setting to fix it, great. If not, great.

I doubt Lomag would consider that "picking on him" but if he does, I hope he'll accept my apologies in advance...

LOL, no one is picking on anyone. There's no fix for this in the forum software so it's just one of those thngs. Although I believe you can click on the users nickname and it'll take you to their overall profile page which will show their location, etc..etc.. a needless extra step but the only way for now.

Heck, I'm still waiting for them to fix the calendar code. Atleast it stopped displaying Christmas

Thanks Lomag. As I said, it's no big deal -- if there was a setting for it, it would have saved a step.

Overall, this software is pretty impressive for the price, huh?

Sure is .. no major complaints here. Just some little bugs here and there. It's even in my favorite color, blue!

BTW, I guess the Jets are dead. Anything can happen though, we'll see tonight!

PS. I'll ask the IPB folks about the profile field in PM's. It's probably an easy template change, maybe I can find it on my own even.

Yep! There we go! Just because the options don't exist in the admin control panel doesn't mean it can't be done manually through the templates. You have your location field in private messages now!
