does anyone else have this issue, it seems no matter what computer I'm on I always seem to have to hit my refresh button in order for the forum pages to refresh. How come they don't refresh on there own?

Yeah I know that works but shouldn't the threads refresh when I move around in the forum?

Maybe you are working out of your cache.

Or do you mean you leave the page untouched and it should update automatically?

No, for instance I post a message on a thread in classifieds and then I go and read some other threads in discussion and then I go back to classifieds I always have to hit the refresh button before all the new responses show up. I also have to refresh when I leave the site and come back a while later, before the new posts and site activity show up.

Seems as if you are working out of the cache.

On the IE there is a setting for it under (I try to translate it, mine is in German):
Extras
Internet options
->click settings in temporary internet files
set every time.

I hope this translation will lead you to the correct place...

If you're not using IE I dunno.

Another thing:

Are you hitting BACK or are you clicking on classifieds in your above mentioned case?

When hitting the back button this behavior is correct...
You are then going a STEP back without reloading the page, no matter how you're setting is.

I just set that everytime like you said, and no I'm not just using back button. We'll see how it works now, thanks.

Another setting that might be interesting for most IE users is under

Extras
Internet Options
Extended (?) (next to programs)
and the you'll find a scroll down menu inwhich there is a position: security/safety
check the box for "empty temporary internet files when closing the browser"

This way your cache will be emptied except for the cookies and you'll free up some hdd space...
