Hmm .. if you all offer, most importantly i'd like to move posts into the Parts&Accessories and Dealer&Service forums from the e60 discussion forum. If you want to search and e-mail me a list of links ill take a look and move posts around. I'm sure you'll find threads which belong in various other sub-forums so those could be listed too.

Finally FF since you mentioned creating a meeting forum if you could find atleast 10 - 15+ related threads i'll create that subforum. I guess we can call it "Meet & Greet Discussion"

This whole cleanup thing though is not a big deal. Occasionally when I have time I move things around. Just last week or so I moved around 250 threads out of the main forum into thier respective subforums. Eventually everything will be properly organized but it's not so important when searching. So, if you're bored...

Well done on the improvements, as always.

Next time I can't sleep I'll look through it from the beginning. Hey, it's only what,. 70,000 posts. How bad can it be..

I asked for a "Regional Forum" awhile back. I guess my terminology wasn't correct

My idea for a "regional forum" was to have Meet n' Greet, Car club meetings and other events posted by region/country, not to separate E60 threads/posts by region. I thought I explained this properly. I guess the term "regional" threw everyone, especially Iceman. These would be sub-forums and much easier to find what applies to each members area, especially as the forum grows. This would still work. See sample here<---.

The Meet n' Greet is a good start.

Yeah, but regional would mean more than one. I think the meet & greet is the best for our board. You can see it's not many threads in there yet. So it's easy to find somthing "regional". But this way you don't have to click through hundreds of forums.
And you will get regional thigns in there, what should better be on the main board. Not everybody will see the regional forum the same way you see it.

IMHO

If you check out my link, you'll see what I mean. It works fine. There's not 100's of forums to search through. I really don't understand what the problem is. Anyway, moving on....end of thread.
