Doing a live upgrade on an operational system is never going to be easy. Doing it on a heavily used free of charge system, i.e. where you don't have huge funds to do seemless upgrades, is never going to be an easy task and certainly not a task I would want to have!
So with that in mind, I think the Admin and Moderator team are doing an OUTSTANDING JOB in maintaining a good continuity of service to the users, as well as providing regular and helpful communication back to its users.

(For future upgrades, you may want to offer vendors the opportunity to pay for priority upgrade service on items such as PMs etc., to ensure their business is not impacted as heavily? Maybe something you could consider as part of a lessons learnt exercise after you've completed this upgrade?)

So MANY thanks to the Admin and Moderator team, really appreciate all the hard work you are putting in behind the scenes

In fact, I'm going to go make another contribution today in support of all this... assuming that function works -- sorry, couldn't resist that last comment!

yeah, the slowness of the loading is pretty bad. that is my only complaint. It is like I time-warped into 1996 and have a 14.4 modem.

I better go see if i got a new trial 3.5 floppy disk of AOL, so I can keep posting!

I like it. Looks modern.

Only one thing; hitting 'reply' and the default font is a very big 'typewriter' font....
