My Ride: 2005 e60 Titanium grey Auburn premium Sport 6-speed Logic-7 folding rear seats with ski bag Bi-xenon Cold weather package
Is it possible to require that the location field be filled in?
This would be helpfull when someone has a question, and I don't think it is an invasion of privacy to at least specify continent.

I agree this would be an improvement, since there are times when somebody asks a question that is geography-dependant, and don't have their location listed. Having it as a required field at registration would remind people to do it, and if somebody really wanted to keep their location private (can't imagine why), they could input "planet earth" or something else.

This has been asked a couple times in the past and it would be nice but not possible in the current version of the forum software. Version 2.1 should be out soon where they tell me it will be possible. We'll see.
