Perhaps BMW should allow it to be specified - it might solve some of the 'issues'..................

Agree of course! There is however a limitation in "search". If the keyword is too short - like "CIP", you won't get any hits at all (and this very word is popular...).

That's true, but you can work around that in those situations (e.g., less than four character search) by searching for

cip*

instead of

cip
