Can we maybe add a new section like Faults and Fixes where we can gather and document different faults on the car and what we did to fix it? It would be helpful and easier for people to locate and search for Faults and if anyone have come up with a solution to it.

Not a bad idea. A lot of new people ask the same questions we all had when we just had the car. This can be very helpfull. Or should it just be added to the FAQ part of the site??

New members will still repeat old questions. Nothing wrong with that. This idea is good although I'm not sure about creating another new subforum.

No its good to repeat old questions I do that too... but its just a place to consolidate all the fault questions instead of having them embeded in the gneneral section where it gets bumped too fast down to the second page or if I'm to look for a certain thread I have to read through many many thread titles before I can locate it.

Like this one I remember reading it a while back but the original poster didnt USE the word SMG in his post so there was no way i was able to use the search function to find this thread. Instead I just started with page one and just kept reading every one to see where it was took a few hours but i found it.

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...indpost&p=78651

The idea is to have a easier way for everyone to search for faults...

Ex here

http://www.mini2.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=16

its all in one section.

Its just a suggestion. Seemed wtih the MINI theres also lots of faults like what the E60 will have and so over time having a dedicated section is good.
