I think that it would be good to try and keep this community together. Many current E60 owners will undoubtably move to the F10. (Hopefully myself included. ) I think it would be wise to 'stake claim' to the F10 discussions to avoid splintering of our community as many current owners start to spend more time looking at their next purchase. Just my $.02

We can't have "bmw" in the domain. BMW will send you a cease and desist order with it for trademark infrigement. I don't want to have to deal with that.
I really want f10.net but the guy who has it wanted some really high amount. I think it was $3000 or more, I don't recall now but I'll email and ask again.

Yeah... ifyou remember several years ago they took down bmwm5.com. They were forced to move their forums to m5board.com and allowed to keep their main site content on bmwm5.com with no links to the forums at all. I'm not sure what they're problem is with forums ... well gee, I wonder!
Plus, BMW has its own exclusive M drivers forum.
Don't pay some greedy a$$.

I just bought F10.NET for $1,545. We're working on transfer of ownership now. I guess it's not too bad. I believe I bought this E60.NET domain for around $600 or so, a bit more, but it's many many years later too. I'll get some F10 things going here soon.

Haha.. ironic, indeed! It was actually $1,500 but they tacked on a $45 fee because I paid with PayPal. I was going to send a wire but that costs $25 + a trip to the bank so I was just a bum and paid it online.

Great job Lomag -- now who'll be the first to post pics of their new F10 on F10.net?
