About a week ago I posted a thread about my HPFP and the nightmare I went through with my dealership with regards to a loaner.

I just received a phone call from BMWNA who told me they had been monitoring an "internet forum" when they came across my post. They asked me about my experience, and then they offered me a gift certificate to be used on BMW accessories on their website.

Needless to say, BMWNA has shown some class, but more importantly they are listening to us here! This is the kind of thing that will keep me in the BMW family for a long time.

kudos to BMWNA. (If you're reading this)

Maybe that's why the new BMW's have white eyebrows, lol.

And LED angel eyes....

Craig, curious how they made the correlation between your user name and you? They just plain called you out of the blue? Howd they know it was your post?

They've had an account here for quite some time... https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showuser=1120

They don't post much but they lurk!

(There are a few other anonymous BMW insiders lurking here too.)

hmmm...

LOMAG!!!

haha. JK.

Well my lease is with BMWNA. they may have run all 2008 black 535s leased from Fields BMW in lakeland, FL to someone named "Craig"

To be sure they could have cross-referenced recent servicings at that dealership. They obviously got my phone number somehow.

I did specifically ask "You are calling about my 5series.net post?" and he laughed and said "Yes"

I said "I figured it was about the survey I filled out" He said "No, that hasn't come across my desk yet"

I'm pretty sure they figured it out on their own, it's not likely that Lomag gave them any personal information without a warrant!

Is it weird the guy asked for my social security number and checking account so he can wire my credit? The caller ID came from a number in Thailand. That is where BMWNA HQ is right?
