I wouldn't want to offend anyone on here, but were all adult right?? I just feel the pc brigade have won again we know when we've over stepped the line, and me personally don't think we did.
Maybe not in your case - but your avatar was not one of the ones or the type that people were complaining about...

Some of the others were, however, in a different league, and some of them did step indeed over the line.

I think if you have to ask, it probably is offensive.

I think you still haven't got it. The OP in that link you posted did NOT say he thought it was offensive. He even commented on how he agreed they all have fantastic bodies.

The point (that you're not getting) is that by putting slightly-raunchy pics on a car site, you put the viewer of the site in a state of having to be careful who's looking over their shoulder (whether it be the boss, the wife or the kids). Instead of it being obvious you're looking at a car site, it instead looks like you're cruising the net looking for pics of scantily clad babes. I had that exact experience. The wife walks in and asks if I'm looking at a porn site when I was at a message posted by someone that had an avatar or sign with one of these types if pics.

Credit to Mark, he said it was questionable, but not as bad as some of the others. He asked me if I would remove it for him, which I have, for him.
I find your new avatar slightly offensive as there are no asian chicks in it.

Well folks I've been in touch with lomag to see if my avatar was indeed offensive. I thought I'd leave that decision to the admin people. Credit to Mark, he said it was questionable, but not as bad as some of the others. He asked me if I would remove it for him, which I have, for him.
Being a newbie to this site I've been inspired/helped with my car, because of the great people on this great forum.

Like radz said, girls and cars are related
Okay, I'll get down off my soap box now, oh and say goodbye to my little lady
P.S. All the bridge avatars were being used so I had to use this one
First of all you are from Yorkshire, my ancestral home, and I expect more stones from a Yorkshire man

Screw the PC police. Most of the world thinks the US is beyond uptight when it comes to any inference of sexuality, sensuality, and god?s gift to man, pretty girls (or adult attractive women to the easily offended)

My vote is put the pretty lady back where she belongs.

And another thing... if a female forum member wants to put a picture of a life guard with abs of steel as there avatar what the hell do I care... (even if it makes me feel massively inferior and out of shape)

wrong idea.

if you dont put half naked chicks on the site, the people that want to see them can go plenty of places on the net to see them. if YOU DO put them on the site, it puts some people on this car forum in jeapordy.

it may be no big deal on the other side of the atlantic, but sexual harrassment is no joke over here. I had 2 soldiers eligable for promotion at the same time when i was in the Army. one was shitty, one was good. the shitty one was a female soldier, the good one was the male soldier. I sent the male soldier to the promotion board. the female soldier filed an "Equal Opportunity" complaint. She got to go to the promotion board and I almost lost my job. long story short, she has been a terrible NCO ever since.

I CANT IMAGINE what kind of fuel she would have if she saw me looking at pictures objectifying women.

ooh, and if someone wants to put pics of dudes on here, the women in the office may or may not care, but either way they will think I am gay.

In america, every man is just one sentence or one click away from having his life turned upsidedown. that said, if people around the world cant respect that about their American fellow enthusiasts, then there is no place for you here. believe it or not, we would respect your requests due to a cultural problem in your society.
