my 2007 bmw 530i in drive works perfectly. Reverse , park neutral etc.
however it won't go to sport mode or manual mode. If you move the lever over it still stays in D. and shifts and operates normally but doesn't go to sport or manual mode

Like the man said, no codes, no answers. Pull up the shifter bezel and manually jumper the + and shift - wires. If you need a diagram, let me know and I will post it. Thanks

Hello, I have a 2006 E60 that I absolutely love. I’ve had her over 4 years and for having 210K she runs like a BMW should. I recently started having normal issues like the starter, and battery. Replaced both. I had 25 codes, now I’m down to 10. 2A94, 2AD0, 2E84, BSD Are the codes that most concern me. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Since it's a 2007, is it an LCI or pre lci? If you have the pre lci shift knob, you probably have damaged wires underneath the shift knob boot.
