BMW e60 failing to read error messages from the ecu
Hello,
I have 2005 e60
The car is working fine apart from the inability to read messages from the ECU.
I have a blue cable with no switch which was working fine with inpa & carly.
I've also tried a ELM327 OBD2 bluetooth adaptor with numerous apps. The apps connect
but cannot read error messages.
Lastly, I've even tried a Streetwize OBDII which also fails.
All the adaptors receive lights and power up from the bmw odb connection port but fail to read from the ecu.
i've seen BMW doctor perform a ecu reset on some bmws. He mentioned that its not the same process for e60s.
can anyone help?
thanks in advance
Anil

Why are you wanting to do a reset. It's your connection that is the issue more than likely. I have no idea what blue cable you are talking about so can't talk about that.
