Hi.

Last couple of months my mirrors wont return to correct spot after pointing down during reverse.

Also they have no respect for my key any more - just stay in same position after unlocking the car (comfort access).

This is not a folding problem.

Anybody else had this?

My E53 does this to some extent. I suspect door wiring harnesses but haven't been sufficiently motivated to check.

I have had codes that indicate a bad controller in the right mirror.
Since I can always adjust manually I thought it was probably logic damage rather than physical damage.

mine does it too. sometimes it does it. sometimes it doesnt. and if i press memory it wont go back into position either.


i just manually adjust it until i have time to deal with it. no errors show in ista so it might be a hardware error.
