Possible engine swap?
Hey everyone,
I have owned my '04 530i for a few years and am planning on putting in a newer engine sometime I the next year or two and want to hear some of your thoughts. I was thinking of putting in a s55 with the turbos. I know it's going to be a lot of work and money but I want to put a newer BMW engine it rather than an LS swap.

My Ride: ,retro sport button,comfort seats,m5 front and rear swaybars,pullbars,550 brakes kit with slotted and drilled rotors,upper strut brace,lower 2pt brace,3im,power box,m5 eom wheels,m5 rep bumper and skirts.
Model Year: 2007
Its gonna be a lot easier if you go Bmw. The new s55 engine isn’t offered in a 5 series, so you’d be the first to try to wire this thing in. It’s an old chassis, even the 06-07 are different. It may be a lot easier if you don’t have idrive to worry about.
