E61 Repair Manual Wanted
Hello E61 lovers, I am looking for a Repair Manual for my vehicle and here's why;
I have a 2008 e61 with about 280,000KM on it. I bought it late 2017, used, and with exactly 200,000km on the odometer. It's been running like a princess and quite quick on the feet, I must admit.
Unfortunately the check engine light popped up and diagnoses indicate that the O2 sensors are faulty and repair shop is also saying I may need the Catalytic Converters as well.
If anyone has a manual to download or mail (free is better and cost is an alternative), please let me know
Why I need help and what type of help I will need
I have the Grit to take on the project but lack the Girth of understanding mechanics and the fact that I have never done it doesn't make this impossible. I believe that a contradiction in theory is a sign of defeat, but in real sense it marks the beginning of the start toward progress.
I will like to make the vehicle my project and eventually go as far as rebuilding the engine at the cheapest cost possible. Unfortunately YouTube does not have any content specific to the E60/61.
My strategy is to fix it as it breaks down, and, if it's not broken, don't fix it. But also to keep up the regular maintenance as up to date as possible which I have done thus far.
I would like to handle the O2/ Cat Con project myself, or else, the dealership quoted me about $8150CAD for the job. and this would take them a day to complete.
Next I would like to do a tune up on the engine, replace spark plugs, gaskets, etc. Point is, this is going to be my first hobby car.
Should you wish to help me, I will need pointers for Cheap parts, beginning with a Repair Manual, must have tools, must fixes on this vehicle, and most importantly your honest advice on such a daunting undertaking. I will be posting questions here as often as possible, hence why it would be necessary to have a go to "mentor".
Everyone is free to throw your opinion and questions at me.
Thanks All,

This is what you want: . They're kinda pricy, but you can find members selling their used ones on the forums from time to time. I'd post a WTB message in the Classifieds section.
There is no E61 specific one.
