Default 09 535i TPMS sensor

Searched and havent found the answer on how to determine which sensor is bad. new tires were put on and now light is on. wont allow a reset "tps fault". I know batteries go dead but i think they broke one of the sensors. I cant seem to mfind how you figure out which one other then replacing all

If you have a compressor, or access to one, you can try letting the air out of one tire at a time to see which tire the system says is low. The one that has no indication is the one with the bad sensor.

BTW, the batteries only last about 7 years or so. If yours are in that range, it may be time to replace them anyway.

Run down to discount tire, they can scan each sensor from the tire pressure valve. They can tell you which one has gone out, and maybe more about why.
There is also a TPM computer located in your trunk. This has been known to get damaged by moisture.

If you need new tires, replace all 4 TPM sensors at the same time. or discount tire is fair on pricing and installation would be free since replacing the sensors are included in the cost for modern cars.
