Retrofit Aux Coding problems
Hi All.
New to 5 series and new to the forum.
I just bought an 04 545i and installed an aftermarket aux cable.
I'd like to make clear, I have spent hours reading through posts across loads of forums trying to see where I have gone wrong. So I'm only posting my own question out of desperation!
I used Roskinc's tutorial and added +NAUX to the vehicle order, and I then used the Revtor profile to code the aux in.
When I read the ecu the Aux is now showing as mounted - before coding it was showing as not mounted. If I try to code it as aktiv it shows and error and won't code it.
BUT - It still isn't showing in the entertainment menu.
I have the CCC wide screen Navigation unit.
I wrote the Vehicle order to CAS and LAM.
I updated the daten to a later version.
I don't know what else I can do to try to get it to work?

1) Use a different profile ExpertMode for example
2) update your spdaten
3) if you still have problems i can do this for you remotely

Thanks Impac.
I've updated the spdaten with the download from bimmergeeks.net (60.1)
I will try with a different profile.
How would you do it remotely? Would you charge for that?
As an update to the above - still no luck!!

Dweed, you can try coding it manualy with NCS. In CAPPL, search for AUX and set it to active. Or you can try to add $6FL to VO, FA write CAS, CAPPL and LMA then sgcodiren CAS, CAPPL and LMA. Or i can help with remote coding via teamviewer.
