Default Blurry Headlights

Hi guys!
I need you because I have to deal with the scourge of all headlights… BLURRY HEADLIGHTS!

I did not pay attention to my headlights and now they are all dirty, I tried cleaning them with toothpaste and a brush as a friend told me but it failed and I really have to get it done: It would be dangerous to drive without them being spotless… any tips? I am getting really desperate…

Also, if anyone knew how to protect my headlights so it does not happen again, I’d love them to share with me!

Lots of discussion on this topic on the forums. Type "headlight lens" (with the quotes) in the Search box on the menu bar.

agreed. Lots of info on how to polish headlights. You don't need any of those "kits" but you do need sand paper for wet sanding and plastic polish.

Yep. And don't forget clear coat or UV protectant.

Right on.

I have done UV protectant in the past and
not happy with it not lasting long enough without frequent application.

I have some clear spray on hand for my next headlight polish and will just spray paint them and see how that turns out.

So... nothing like $3,000 worth of headlights compared to polishing the originals?

Do you get a new paint job instead of a good paint polish and wax?
