Default 2008 - 535i Hamming noise

Hello;

I'm hearing hamming noise when I'm full stop and my foot on the brake and the transmission at (D). when I switch to (P) the noise is much much lesser. Any idea what could be the reasons and I should be concern or not. Thanks for advice and inputs.

Do you mean a "humming" noise?

What year car do you have. Could it be a bad mount? I would assume that is what it is.

It's in his profile information. FYI, your own profile needs editing.

Try turning off the AC. The compressor can make a humming/whirring noise.

The car is 535i-2008.
I guess I have two separate issues:
1- Humming noise when the AC is off and I'm around 700 rpm and my foot on the break. For example at stop light and when I accelerate I can't hear the humming noise.
2- I think it's different from the above; when AC is ON and after 15 minutes or 20 I start hear kind of noise which I guess is coming from the compressor.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks to all
