Default Water on the passenger side floor board

Hi I'm sure this has been asked many times. I tried to do some research and found several different things it could be similar to. Here's what I have going on - 2010 528i. Water on front passenger side . Car was not driven for a week . Lots of rain with TS Cindy coming to town . I got home from vacation and noticed lots of water there. When i opened the door water came out of bottom of door too. Where is the most likely spot this is coming from ? Some say the sunroof drain , some say drain under hood.then there's the vapor barrier behind the door panel . I really don't want to go thru all of them to find the problem . Most likely possibility? Thanks in advance .

sunroof drain, might need to remove the A pillar trim to make sure nothing is disconnected too.

So the sunroof drain might also let water in the door itself ?

are you still noticing water draining from the door when you open it? is the carpet on the RF of the car damp?
