Default Washer pump fuse no.?

So my windscreen washer pump isnt working and hasn't worked for a while. As far as i can remember it stopped pumping water whilst still whirring but I've found that now i don't even get a noise (its been a fair few months of me being too lazy to fix it!). I do however get wiper activation when pulling the stalk for the washers.

My cars due its MOT so now i need to sort it, i always thought it would be a blocked filter so i removed the pump, cleaned the little filter, blew through the pipes to the jets (resulting in some water fluid bubbling out the little overflow pipe on the right side of the engine bay), i also blew through this overflow pipe which resulted in bubbles from the washer filler pipe. Couldn't get my head in to blow through the pipe which connects to the pump itself as i didn't remove the wheel.

Chucked some water in it and tried the washers, still nothing. Had a look at the fuse box diagram in the boot and there doesnt seem to be a dedicated fuse for the washer pump. Under windscreen wipers it says 11, 16, 22 so i checked these fuses anyway and they were all fine.

Is there a designated fuse for the washer pump or do you reckon the pump itself is just knackered. I read something about a resettable fuse somewhere which stops the pump burning out when theres no water - Any truth in this for the E60?

So I just checked my list in the boot. You could check that too, I didn't know it was there either (it's where your medical kit is).
On my 2004 the wipers are on 11,26 and 27 (not 22).
The washers (in German: "Scheinwerferreinigungsanlage" ) are on 18 and 27.

By the way: Did you get any warnings?

yeah checked that, wipers are definitely 11,16, 22. Nothing specified as washers and definitely no German words on there!

Sorry, I just realized that I mixed up the headlight washers with the regular washers.
Indeed, I can't find anything regarding that on my chart either.
However, yours differs from mine (see Headlight cleaning system = Scheinwerferreinigungsanlage).

perhaps it's one of the fuses which comes under headlight cleaning system then. I'll check those but I recon the pump has just died so I've ordered another one now anyway, they aren't much.

As far as I know the headlights have their own pump. I could be wrong, though.

Okay, you'll know after you put it in then

yeah the headlights have a separate pump but I was thinking maybe they share a common fuse?

Now that I think about it, I'm very sure they don't.
It's a common solution to unplug a certain fuse to disable the headlight washers.
