Default Should I buy this M5?

Hey guys, so I'm sure you guys get this type of question all the time but I need to make a decision here pretty soon. I'm much more familiar w/ the N54 535i than the M5. I've owned BMW's in the past so I'm not too worried about maintenance, that said, I've never owned an M car and based on my research, a bad day could cost me a kidney lol. I'm somewhat handy w/ a wrench (about an average diy'er) so I'm hoping I can save some of those costs on routine maintenance and such.

Take a look at the car below and let me know your thoughts. It's a flood car from texas...
vin# is WBSNB93526B582149

So, for that price, I'll have some money for an aftermarket warranty, assuming they'll warranty a rebuilt title car.

Thoughts?

thanks in advance!

Just some thoughts:
  • Why is a flood car from Texas being advertised in North Carolina?
  • No mention of the flooding in the Craigslist ad.
  • Flooding wreaks havoc with electronics, and Bimmers have a LOT of electronics!
I'd be leery.
