I just scored a nice new M5 dead pedal and want to install it in my 04 545. However, I cant get the old one off. Any suggestions on how to do this. I did a search and couldn't find anything.

Same thing just happened to me. Good thing I did a search. I have a 545i. Will be calling the dealer in the morning. I am out of warranty. Hope they fix it free.

Thanks for being the guinea pig. I'm glad it all worked out for you. I would like to use the newer idrive controller if I did this mod, I just think it looks cooler.
