I listed this awhile back but never was able to get any pictures taken to do a proper listing. I put this on ebay for a 7 day auction but thought I would give people here a fair crack. I did sell my beyern wheels to someone on the forum a couple weeks ago and you can contact him to confirm I am legit. Anyway I have four S-Drive tires that are virtually new. Was on my car for one summer this past one and I went to a 19 inch setup. These were awesome tires, side-walls are nice and stiff, they are really light (23 pounds a piece). They look great with their aggressive large block treat pattern. They stick like glue in both wet and dry conditions which is really surprisin for the price point these are at. Overall a great summer tire. Also perfect for Stealer lease turn ins. These are a summer ultra-high performance tire that would be acceptable for lease turn-in if you originally had summer only tires on your new car.

I am asking 250 dollars plus shipping which will be roughly 75 bucks.

The tires have 8/32's of tread left, no cupping or any type of poor wear. They are perfectly even worn tires, no patches or blemishes at all. These tires are pretty much new without fault.

I wonder if BMW will take back a 2008 lease with these tires on them. e.g. they arent the factory replacements and probably not RFTs.

I need to know if these are RFTs. If so, I am interested.

I have turned in multiple leases and your tires do NOT have to be run-flats or the same brand you got with the car or a brand bmw uses. They use many brands on variosu cars. The only requirement if that you put the same type of tire and in this case it is a summer performance tire which would be what comes on a sport package.

These are not run-flats and would be perfect for lease turn in. Oh and the most important other criteria is tread life. You need 6/32's of tread remaining to not get charged so these would be perfect.

I called my dealer today and spoke with the lease inspection person. They said they were just at a BMW training session as they had changed some things. Tires have to be the same type..so if they are "Y" speed rated, they need to be "Y"...not "W" or anything else. Also, if they come with run flats, they need run flats. My contract says 1/8" tread...so 4/32". front/rear tires dont have to be the same...apparently they used to charge for mismatched tires, not anymore.

These arent run-flats. I may go with Kumho's that are or buy some Dunlop take-offs on ebay.

You wont find dunlops or any runflats for less than 900 bucks for a set of 4 is the problem. It is not true that they need to be run-flats. I verified this as I almost turned in my lease until I chose to buy it last month. These tires were on their for lease turn in and had my lease inspection and everything done. Tires were perfectly fine. They are Y speed rated summer performance with (you are right it is 4/32's) of tread. You are getting bad information regardin the run flats since mine came with run flats and it was not a problem. Good luck spending 1000 on some new run flats!
