WTT: LCI Smoked Tail Lights for non-smoked
I have a pair of mint tinted LCI Tail Lights that I bought thinking I could undo the tint. The tail lights were spray tinted with 2 coats of black metallic paint (black metallic has smaller pigments and allows more light to pass through) and 4 coats of clear. The local body shop took a look at it and said that they wouldn't recommend removing it as it would be too much hassle for me and they may not turn out as good as I want them to be. Basically, they couldn't guarantee the OEM look, which I appreciate before they mess it up.
Would anyone be interested in a trade for non-smoked ones? If my car was a lighter color, I'd probably like it more, but there might be not enough contrast on a blue car.
