I also spoke with him and yes he told me the same thing. $500 for them. I sent him some photos and he said the same thing.
I am also interested. We need to get him a vorsteiner hood or as I told him just take one if our hoods and place the vents in them as a mole? Otherwise we need to find someone in LA with the M5 vorsteiner cause that one has a hump in the middle that makes it look bad ass.

Looking on Ebay and the ViS CF hoods for a BMW range in price from $700-$900, while other brands like 300zx Honda Sc400 etc range from $350-$600 max. Shit like that really annoys me 
ViS hoods look too busy imo also the vents are just toooooo big. The only other hood I found similar to Vorsteiner hoods on ebay was http://cgi.ebay.com/BMW-E60-SALOON-REAL-CARBON-FIBRE-HOOD-AIR-VENT-/200502637463?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eaee37397 and that sh!t cost $1900 lol.
