Yes the price through them was actually 699 shipped. I did see it through other eBay sellers for 650 shipped as well. But all were said to be out of stock and to check back soon

Issues with water getting into engine bay when washing car and rain because of vents. I never thought about something like this happening but sounds pretty shitty lol.

I had seen a member's vented hood (was not Vorsteiner though) and his had vent covers for the bottom. Wonder if this comes with it. If not, I can't imagine it'll be too hard to make something to cover it from underneath.

Hey guys , if anyone has a vorsteiner vented hood that would fit my m5 i am on the market for one. Silver grey would be perfect but i would take it in any color as long as the vents are carbon fiber or black. I am in chicago area and would drive up to 200 mls to meet up if shipping is not possible .

My hood has covers under the vents to stop the rain getting in the engine bay. If you live in a very dry area and have little rain, you can just take them off and have the vents actually working as vents!

This one has covers for the underside ... even though water would not affect anything to begin with.
