I understand you thought you were funny when you called him a cheap bastard. I think you are not understanding that it did not come off as funny, more douche bag like. Myself and others have noticed that more and more with some of your posts here on this forum, it's a failed attempt at humor. Understandable that tones are lost over the keyboard, so sometimes the humor can be lost, but when it continues to happen without remorse or afterthought, there is an issue. Like another member that has been "called out" recently, I can honestly say I've seen your posts here on this forum start off as respectful/helpful transform to rude and obnoxious. Perhaps your comfort level increased as you've been a member here so you let a few zingers go, that's cool....just be aware that your humor can be misinterpreted. And by stating members here need to loosen up or are too sensitive or make references to feminine hygiene products is cop out. The mentality of "that's your problem, not mine" is not what e60.net is about. In fact that is the same elitist stigma that we as BMW owners are trying to combat.
