Hey everyone,

I'm looking for spark plugs for the m54, can't seem to find anywhere that will sell them cheap. I tried amazon but they won't ship to Canada. If someone can help me out that would be great, otherwise I guess its off to the stealer for $20 plugs.

Auto parts store should have your Bosch plugs for like 6 or 7 dollars

 

garry at newport or tischer. I needed plugs immediately so I had my friend get it for me at a discount. $11.91 per piece plus tax at the dealers.

 

tischer or newport won't ship to Canada anymore.

Maybe I'll have to try that carparts.ca site.

I received my spark plugs + other parts yesterday from Frank Jershe at Motorwerks BMW. Great guy and unbelievable service! I called him last week and ordered several parts for my car including the NGK spark plugs, withing 4 days I got everything as I'm located in Canada.

I have an E60 M54 motor too. I went with the NGK Laser-cut Platinum BKR6EQUP 3199 .032

NGK: 2004 BMW 530I 3.0 L6 M54 FI
$8.99 USD + 7% tax
or about $9.75 CDN ea

My local BMW Center installed these for me when they replaced the valve cover gasket under warranty. These and Bosch were BMW-specified until recently, when they went to Bosch only.

I read on forums from other BMW drivers about misfires with the Iridium at high RPMs.
