My Ride: 2006 E60 530i
Hi guys, I am wondering if my 530i can use a paddle shifter steering wheel.
I did some research and i came out that I need a retrofit kit for the shifter to work.
If someone selling their steering wheels with the paddle shifter and the retrofit kit too..
let me know..

Yes it can ... I retrofitted my car w/ SMG paddle shifter steering wheel ... it a great mod. GL!

My Ride: '10 Switzer "Ultimate Street Edition" GT-R
I had everything to do this but the retro kit...Then I decided to sell the car....This is a great mod, but it will cost you an arm and a leg...Look to spend around $800-1000
to do it! The steering wheel can be had from a guy on ebay...He's from germany and you can get a great deal...The wheel will cost around ~$300...The kit you can get from aftermarketbulbshop....Runs around $300-350..The airbag is what is going to kill you! These are hard to find and they run anywhere between $350-550! G/l on your mod! Remember there are 2 different steering wheels! One is a pre 09/05 and the other is a post 09/05...Also there are 2 different round airbags! You will have to find the correct one that matches the horn contacts...
