The title pretty much says it... My tire installer seems to think I need them after I've been there twice and his machine shows perfect balance... Before I used to feel some vibrations between 50 and 60 MPH, now, after the last visit I think I feel it between 60 and 70.
What else could it be? So, if you have some for sale, hit me up.

Thanks!

Local tire shops should carry them? Hubcentric rings are relatively cheap anyway?

What set of rims do you have?

You might have a hub center of 74mm and our e60's require the common 72.6 (might be off a bit).

I think the e39 uses 74mm's.

I have a set of Miro M6 reps. My car is an e60 xi and the wheels were supposed to be hub-centric.
However, just to see if the installer is right I'll get a set.

So, should I just go to a local place then? I thought there might be difference in quality, etc.

Call around for pricing, then PM Nerweezy and or John@EuroRev to compare.

I just spoke with Miro to double check. Since you have an XI AWD you don't need hub rings since the wheels are already 72.56 bore. Are you sure it's not the tire and everything was properly balanced?

Miro claims that no one has had any vibration issues w/ the M6 reps running high offsets like you.

Let me know.

Michael,

Thanks again for following up and calling Miro. I am not doubting neither yours nor Miro's statements, I look at the hub rings as a very cheap way to figure things out. I can install them myself, go on the same roads that I usually go and see if they help.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
