I'm looking for a good condition used e60 heated steering wheel with shift paddles (M5/M6 SMG or SAT option). M5/M6 and SAT wheels are everywhere, but I've found it nearly impossible to find one with the heater option.
Part numbers in which I'm most interested are:
32342283949 M-Sport
32342283935 ///M
If you have one, or know where I can find one, please let me know! Thanks!

I know the leather is different, but I prefer the stitching and the shift paddles on the M5/M6 wheel. And I also realize it's not plug and play with the e61, but I'll lay out my own PCB and build an adapter circuit.
Evan, btw, I love your wagon, and I'm curious if you have any preferred dismantlers for recycled parts? There is just nothing here in Northern NV!

There is a heated option for the M5 wheel. It's the part number I posted, and it was just offered in the last few years of the e60 M5 run. I don't want to sacrifice the heat -- I live around Tahoe and travel even further north to ski and snowboard in the winters.

That is cool you are building your own board for the retrofit, if it is worth your time and effort to build a few extra and sell them for $250-$300 a pop you would have a commanding position in the market (Motive Mods sells theirs for $500 which just seems like highway robbery considering you can get a weapon/tool like the JB4 for less than that.
Man, the heated M wheel will really be a needle in the haystack, I have never even seen one (I know the leather is different but not sure what it actually looks like). It maybe better to direct this inquisition over to M5Board if you haven't already. The amount of traffic which goes through that forum compared to this one and other BMWs I browse is mind blowing. You may also have some luck tracking one down internationally either through the website or eBay.co.uk
EDIT: Found one: BMW Brand Genuine E60 E61 M5 E63 E64 M6 Heated Leather Steering Wheel | eBay
For recyclers there were a couple guys on M5Board who owned a lot of E60 M5s for parting out. I forget the original guys name but he sold his inventory to Jim Colley and now Jim is transitioning out of the recycling game. Other than that I scour eBay, Craigslist (AdHuntr), and various forums, there is also a Canadian site Kijiji which always seems to have a lot of cars on it. Lastly, it seems to work better for larger mechanical parts but Car-Part.com is good.

I see you are in Carson City, I had a place in Incline Village for a bit and actually went to the CS DMV to register my E61!

I've been scouring eBay for months now (how just got my SAT shifter parts for $300), and I found that same one, but for less than $940 I can get one from a local dealer or $200 less from one of the many dealers who sell online. They just don't include the wiring harness, paddle shifters, or any of the trim. I'd be into the wheel for over $1000 by the time I'm done. Most wheels sell on ebay for $500 or less complete without the airbag, which I'd be happy to pay at this point. I'll add the sites you suggested to my search routine. Thanks for the information.
As far as building custom boards, I love the options it creates. I plan to start a thread soon with a DIY for the Escort 9500ix radar detector interface I built. Custom PCB replaces the PCB in a spare SOS button, while maintaining the BMW LEDs and membrane switch but adding all of the Escort SmartCord circuitry for indication and muting. Neatly tucks everything away in the overhead console in the blank switch location.

I saw you had NV plate on your wagon at one time, so I figured you made your way over here. Let me know if you're ever in Tahoe to do some mountain biking or just share some wagon love.
