i need to buy a car cover since this morning i woke up at 7am and there were at least 8 cars with spray painted lines on them..

fortunately enough my car is at the dealer and i have a loaner (which thank God nothing happened to)


so now im thinking of getting a car cover and if anyone has on for an e60 and doesn't use it anymore i would like to buy


damn hoodlums. and i don't even live in an "urban neighborhood"...

I have not used a car cover in MANY years.....I found that if there was even the tiniest bit of dirt or grit on the car, you would be rubbing it over and over on the paint making MANY scratches. You must be VERY careful to avoid this!! Maintenance was then Step 1, Wash Car, Step 2, Wash Car Cover....it just made no sense to me! So there are my 2 cents, spend them as you see fit!!

IMO, car covers attract more attention, it's like putting a target sign on your car. Spend your money on some motion sensor lights for the driveway (and a taser gun ). I've known some people to buy an old cc camera, mount it on the side of the house, fake wire it, and use that to deter idiots.
