WTB: CCC for 2008 5351
Looking for used or refurb CCC for a 2008 5351. looks like mine just took a dirt nap. my Idrive keeps rebooting.
Looking to by a used or Refurb. Or if anyone knows where i can send it out for repair.

I don't know where you can send it for repair. However, they don't make the CCC new anymore (it was replaced by CIC in 2010), the only way to get one is refub or used. If you are looking for one with a warranty I suggest you try getbmwparts.com, they have them for under $700 and they have a warranty. It would just need to be coded to your car. Any new/refurb/used one would have to be coded to your car anyway. I would suggest finding a good indy shop in your area that can code it for you. When it happened to my old car the dealer wanted $2800 to fix it, $1000 to code it. I got it for $680 and got it coded and installed (along with AUX port and TCU) for $300. Not bad at all really.

My Ride: 2008 535xi
Got mine from Weber Brothers Auto. Decently priced back in the day. They seem to have quite a bit of LCI 5 series cars.

Thanks guys, I will look into both of your suggestions. I hope they still have them available. Is there anything special i should out for? I found some on E-bay, but non of them are from my year or model(my model is 535i). is there any fundamental differences?
