I've searched the forum classified and the few that have recently been posted are gone. Also found a couple on CraigsList BUT I'm really leery about sellers on that site.

Here's the deal - I may need to do a quick replacement of one of my summer RE050A Bridgestones ... just found a small screw in one of mine and if it's managed to penetrate the tire (I'll know this weekend when I get to my local indy) I don't know if it can be repaired because it's pretty close to the outer tread blocks. If I'm really lucky the thing may not have made it through the tread and all will be OK - but I want to be prepared.

Sooo . if someone has found themselves soooo averse to RFTs and has a couple of good take-offs at the right price I may be game.

I am not interested in something that is more than 1/2 worn - prefer more meat that that but we'll take that one small step at a time. If it's been repaired properly I'm ok with that too. I absolutely want to match tires on my car so my look see is for an "Original" Bridgestone RE050A RFT.

Just a reminder - pics and price + any relevant detailed info helps; I'm located in Southern NJ with easy access to Philadelphia or the Jersey Shore. I know shipping tires can be a hassle.

Well it's one day and I've driven it about 50 miles with no change in air pressure ... maybe I lucked out ??

Week after next we're driving to the Outer Banks (900 mi / rt) ... don't want to get between a rock and a hard place and get hosed for a replacement tire while I'm away from familiar territory.

I got one take off with a decent amount of tread, that I can sell to you for 50 bucks. Even better, if you have something to trade for - I'm particularly partial to some smoked side markers right now

Thanks - when I get back from my little vacation I'll evaluate my car situation and let you know if it makes sense to replace my tire
